This photo was taken near dusk in the Buffalo River National Park. The incredible fall colors seen in the Ozark Mountains are impossible to describe verbally and I’m not convinced a photograph really does them justice either. This photo is special to me because you get two different impressions of it depending upon whether you look at it close up or at a distance. Only from a distance do you understand the pictures title.
